2008 Hallberg-Rassy HR54

2008 Hallberg-Rassy HR54

895,000 Euro

This HR 54 is a wonderful example of a safe, comfortable and beautiful bluewater cruiser that captures the true meaning of push button sailing for utmost safety and easy handling. She clearly demonstrates why Hallberg-Rassy has such an impressive reputation throughout the world. This boat has only seen very light use and has been meticulously maintained and is in "new" like condition. There are less then 300 hours on the engine and under a hundred on the genset. She is being offered at this time because the owner wishes to buy a larger boat. A Hallberg-Rassy, of course! This vessel has the most desirable floorplan with the forward super cabin offering a double pullman berth with plenty of elbow room and storage space. Spacious aft cabin with a centerline Island berth, the most comfortable easy chairs in the saloon and walkthrough galley. Finally, the interior is in teak rather than the standard mahogany.

The interior is finished in satin teak with carpeting throughout snapped over a teak and holly sole. Large opening ports are provided hroughout the vessel. At the bow is a v-berth with 7' berths for two. Lockers and storage are ample. There is a large deck hatch for ventilation and light and a dorade vent as well. There is plenty of room for dressing. Next aft to starboard is a sleeping cabin with a double bed, vanity and hanging locker. Directly to port is the forward head. There is a Corian sink and Corian counter tops. The head also has a separate
shower stall with Plexiglas doors and a washing machine. Doors fore and aft create a suite out of this section of the boat.
7 Hella Turbo fans throughout the interior provide additional ventilation and comfort.

The roomy saloon has a large L-shaped settee to starboard and two comfortable easy chairs to port. A strong folding table is set within comfortable reach of the settee and includes two folding chairs for the inboard side of the table. The large opening hatch comes with an Oceanair Skyscreen as do all of the large hatches throughout.

A spacious galley extends down the port side toward the aft cabin. All working surfaces are white Corian. There are two Frigomatic insulated boxes with baskets. One is a fridge and one is a freezer or a fridge depending on one's needs. There is also a front opening "beer" fridge. The Force 10 stove has three burners and an oven. On the opposite side of the galley is a deep double sink. Many lockers and storage spaces are provided.

A comfortable chart table and seat is found on the starboard side of the saloon. There is a shelf for electronics and many drawers. Just aft of the galley on the port side is the entrance to the engine room. The walk in engine room is wide and spacious. The insulation is extraordinary. Almost all of the mechanical equipment is to be found here including engine, generator, pumps, hot water tank, etc.

The aft cabin has a center-line queen bed with a rounded seat on each end and a vanity to starboard. There are two hanging lockers and a large opening hatch. The ensuite head compartment provides a generous separate shower stall, Corian wash basin and counter top. The aft head is electric flush and the forward head is manual.
